There’s a special kind of magic that comes with collaboration. Nothing’s more exciting than getting a creative crew together around an empty virtual white board with a problem to solve. It’s close partnerships that get us excited.

We’d love to introduce a few of our favorite partners, starting with Alan, Lindsay, and Miles.

Alan Stuart: Founder and Executive Creative Director at Pair of Thieves

Alan’s background is in design, publishing, and advertising, but these days he helps lead Pair of Thieves alongside co-founders Cash Warren and David Ehrenberg. Together, they’ve created an apparel basics brand with a taste of colors, patterns and humor.

We asked Alan to share what partnering with Team has meant to Pair of Thieves over the last couple of years. Alan says, “Team has been able to seamlessly work as our ‘expanded internal team,’ which has been a huge help from a bandwidth point of view, but also a big improvement in morale, by pushing our creatives to do better through inspiration and guidance.”

Alan describes Team Studio as a “creative agency with no ego and a shitload of great ideas, experience, and positivity.”

This year along, Pair of Thieves commissioned Team Studio on six seasonal campaigns and countless brand initiatives. Most recently Team was asked to concept and execute a seasonal campaign to celebrate their SuperFit fabric to fight SWASS (“sweaty ass”) in the hot and humid summer months. Together we developed a campaign “Less SWASS, More Swag” to show how summer revelers can keep their cool when things heat up.

Lindsay Goodson: Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Aqualung

Lindsay is an athlete-turned-brand-builder who has worked with Speedo, USA Swimming, and Sports Authority before coming to Aqualung: the water equipment manufacturer founded by none other than Jacques Cousteau.

Lindsay says that partnering with Team is unique because of Team’s “ability to creatively conceptualize, take feedback, and apply it in a unique and ownable way.” She also appreciates the way Team “breaks down the complex into digestible bites” so that collaboration stays tight and everyone is always on the same page.

And on that note, we’re excited to share our recent work with U.S. Divers on a brand identity that celebrates unforgettable beach vacations and the awe inspiring underwater and all of the family memories that go with it.

Miles Diggins: VP Brand Strategy, Creative, and Digital at Astound Group

Miles has spent the better part of the last twenty years as a leader in the world of design and marketing, working in creative agencies and studios around North America. All that has led him to his current role as VP of creative at Astound.

When it comes to working together with Team, Miles says that “rather than feeling transactional, Team seamlessly integrated into our company and process.”

“There’s a rigor to the work, a thoughtfulness, an appreciation for the details, an understanding of the larger context and relationship, and at the end of the day, just awesome people that you want to work with.”

Most recently, Astound invited Team to contribute to a UX and digital overhaul for a full-service resort destination. We worked together to craft a radically simplified and consumer obsessed web experience in parallel with a handful of other important engagements. Our partnership allowed everyone to go further and bigger than otherwise possible.
